Flat roofs are notorious for leaking, with many older style flat roofs using felt and bitumen, which is prone to letting in water. With the British weather often unreliable, leaky roofs can be an issue at any time of the year – to the extent that many people would even think twice about buying a property with a section of flat roof, as they are so concerned about leaks.
